After a few months of construction, there is still a lot of work left to be done on the $25-million Towne Center. By year’s end, however, the 14.5-acre project at El Toro Road and Home Depot Drive will be transformed into the city’s first major commercial project, said Jason Grange, a spokesman for the developer, Polygon Development L.P. of Costa Mesa. Once completed, Town Centre will house a 45,570-square-foot garden-style office building, two general office buildings, a hotel, a medical office building, a restaurant and two small retail strips, said Kevin Clarke, project director for Polygon.
