More Mid-Century
I loved your article “Retro Palm Springs” (Feb. 27). You missed a favorite of mine, the San Marino Hotel. This cozy 15-room inn was also designed by William Cody. It is an example of the Wright school of architecture, with extensive use of glass and angular stone walls.
Each unit is uniquely furnished. It is built in a U shape around a pool and garden with the San Jacinto Mountains as a backdrop. Quiet and delightful.
