Ice Dogs Win in Shootout, 2-1

MILWAUKEE — Frantisek Kaberle and Alexei Yegorov scored in a sudden-death shootout Saturday to lead the Long Beach Ice Dogs to a 2-1 victory over the Milwaukee Admirals.
Ice Dog goalie Nikolai Khabibulin, who stopped 24 of 25 shots in the game, remained perfect in shootouts this season. He stopped all four Admiral shots and has stopped 22 of 22 this season.
Pavel Rosa scored for Long Beach with 13:34 to play in the first period. Richard Lintner scored for Milwaukee in the second period.
