Absentee Ballots Still Available

The Ventura County Elections Division office in Ventura will be open Monday to give absentee ballots to voters who will be unable to get to a polling place Tuesday. The office, in the Hall of Administration at 800 S. Victoria Ave., will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Voters unable to pick up a ballot in person may designate someone to do so. In such cases, voters must provide a written, signed statement requesting that a ballot be given to the representative, who must be named in the request.
The marked ballot must be returned by the voter or the representative to the Elections Division office or to any polling place in Ventura County by 8 p.m. Tuesday, election day.
* For more information, call the Elections Division at 654-2781.
