Scholarships

Re “Bucking for an Advantage,” Feb. 27: There is an alternative to spending ungodly sums of money on athletic coaches, camps and sports psychologists. This alternative will greatly increase the child’s chances of obtaining a scholarship or becoming a professional, it will improve the child’s self-esteem and will be of lasting benefit to both the child and society. It’s called studying.
