A final vote on extending a 45-day moratorium on permits for telecommunications antennas is scheduled for the City Council meeting tonight at 7 p.m. Citing inadequate guidelines for approving cellular antennas, the council approved the moratorium May 10. Council members have expressed concern over the growing number of requests to install antennas because their effect on the community is unknown.
