Twelve new teachers were recently hired by the La Habra Board of Education. Stepping into the classroom this fall will be Vincent Ayala and Holly Iris, physical education at Imperial Middle School; Jenny Chen, kindergarten at Las Lomas Elementary; Stephanie Eastland, third grade at Walnut Elementary; Jennifer Erickson and Carissa Smith, seventh grade at Washington Middle; Alison Fouchey, third grade at Sierra Vista Elementary; Andrea Lee, eighth grade at Washington Middle; Amy Mihele, fourth grade at Sierra Vista Elementary; Patricia Perez, second grade at Las Lomas Elementary; Kerri Slaughter, seventh and eighth grade at Imperial Middle; and Robin Wolf, vision specialist, Walnut Elementary.
