The City Council will discuss amending the municipal code that would prohibit “grinding” with skateboards, trick bikes and in-line skates against all surfaces in public parks, excluding the new skate park that opened last month.
City staff is also recommending that the council increase fines for violators since the damage costs the city several thousands dollars per year.
The council will vote on the matter at 7 p.m. tomorrow in the council chamber, 25201 Paseo de Alicia, Laguna Hills. Information: (949) 707-2600.
