Health Dept. Closes Food Establishment

The following Ventura County restaurants or food service establishments were closed recently after unsanitary conditions were identified by county Environmental Health Division inspectors.
Information is as of Friday: Camp Comfort Canteen, 11969 Creek Road, Ojai; no water available for hand washing; closed June 30 and no reopen date posted.

Establishments are permitted to reopen once the problems are fixed. For questions or to report a complaint, call the Environmental Health Department at 654-2813 or (800) 660-5474. The switchboard operates from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
