TUSTIN
The Police Department will hold a Tustin Police Memorial fund-raiser from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday at Louie’s Barber Shop, 414 E. 1st St.
All proceeds from haircuts will go to the memorial fund, which was established to build a memorial in front of the department’s entrance in honor of the late Tustin Police Officer Waldron Karp and any officers killed in the line of duty in the future.
Karp died Jan. 7, 1973, a month after he was shot twice in front of a house by a man carrying a rifle. Information: (714) 573-3200.
