$13.6-million Air Force Contract Goes to Northrop
Northrop Grumman Corp.’s Integrated Systems and Aerostructures sector of San Diego has won a $13.6-million contract to provide 32 additional BQM-34 Firebee sub-scale aerial targets for the U.S. Air Force’s Air Armament Center, Eglin Air Force Base, Fla. Production is to begin in July at Northrop’s facility in Palmdale.
Northrop Grumman designs and manufactures military surveillance and combat aircraft, precision weapons, airspace management systems and information systems.
