It’s a Bear of a Night for Ice Dogs

On the strength of a four-goal second period, the Utah Grizzlies defeated the Ice Dogs, 4-3, Wednesday night in an International Hockey League game at the Long Beach Arena.
Utah’s Rob Bonneau scored two goals in the second period, including the game-winner at 17:17 from Patrick Neaton and John Purves.
Long Beach had a 2-0 lead in the first period on goals by Jan Nemecek and Pavel Torgaev in his first game with the team, but Utah staged a comeback by scoring the first three goals of the second period.
