Arbolita Elementary School’s Adopt-a-Class program recently received $185 from Burch Ford in La Habra, one of its first sponsors.
The program is looking for businesses in the city to sponsor a classroom at the school. Teachers would use the donations to buy school supplies and other needed items. The cost is $185 to be a room sponsor, and representatives from organizations can also participate in school events.
Activities include assisting a teacher, reading books aloud and helping with Field Day, an afternoon of games and sports.
