Ill Bartoli Postpones U.S. Tour

Famed mezzo-soprano Cecilia Bartoli has the flu and has postponed her U.S. tour, which was to include a recital Jan. 12 at the Irvine Barclay Theatre.
No new date has been set, according to a spokesperson for the Philharmonic Society of Orange County, which was sponsoring the Irvine stop.
Patrons who bought their tickets (all seats were $250) through Ticketmaster outlets should return them to point of purchase for a refund. Patrons who ordered tickets through the Irvine theater box office or the Philharmonic Society will be contacted and given three options: refunds, tickets to other Philharmonic Society concerts, or a donation to the Society.
