Cerritos Valley Christian 55, Oak Park 52--Susie Boogaard scored 30 points to the Crusaders win a semifinal game at Agoura High.
Kim Bryan made four of five three-point shots in the first quarter to help Oak Park to an 18-11 lead.
Bryan finished with 15 points and Holly Stewart scored 16 for the Eagles (16-9).
“Oak Park was hitting us hard in the first quarter with all of those field goals, so we made our defensive adjustments and took out their outside shooting,” said Coach Eleanor Dykstra of Valley Christian.
The Crusaders (23-6) opened the second half with a 7-0 run that gave them a 33-29 lead.
Oak Park tied the score, 41-41, with six minutes left on a layup by Stewart, but Boogaard scored her final nine points in the next five minutes before fouling out.
Jamila Veasley had 15 points and eight rebounds for Valley Christian.
