Boeing Must Have Won the Lottery
According to “Boeing Overruns on Space Station Near $1 Billion” [Feb. 23], getting a government contract is akin to winning the lottery, except that you don’t even have to win to collect.
Boeing has cost overruns of $1 billion and will receive $181.4 million in bonuses.
Does this strike anybody as odd?
Can someone tell me what this bonus is for?
Do you get bonuses for bad management, bad planning, underbidding, lying, stealing, 11% cost overruns?
Wow. Our government sure is a generous institution. If I miscalculate my tax and underpay by 11% do you think I’ll get a bonus? Just asking.
