STANTON
The City Council today will consider whether to make Stanton the second city to pull out of a study on the formation of a new fire protection services department. Stanton was participating in the study along with Buena Park, Garden Grove and Westminster, but Westminster recently withdrew. All four cities are served by the Orange County Fire Authority. The study is assessing whether the cities would receive a higher level of service from a new department.
