Solgene Therapeutics Gets $100,000 Research Grant

Solgene Therapeutics LLC, Westlake Village, said it has received a $100,000 grant from the National Institute of Health to study a bone regrowth therapy using genetically altered cells.

Solgene has developed technology to encapsulate living cells in porous ceramic materials, which prevent rejection by the host body.
