Syncor International Posts Increases in Net Income

Syncor International Corp., Woodland Hills, reported net income for the fourth quarter ended Dec. 31, 1999, of $4.6 million compared with $3.5 million for the fourth quarter 1998. Sales increased to $134.6 million from $119 million.
For the year ended Dec., 31, 1999, net income rose to $19.2 million from $13.9 million for fiscal 1998. Sales rose to $520.3 million, up from $449 million.
Syncor provides high-technology health care services, including nuclear pharmacy services, radiotherapy and medical imaging.
