Holiday Closures
Today is Presidents Day, created to celebrate the birthdays of Presidents George Washington and Abraham Lincoln.
* CLOSED: All government offices, courts, banks, stock and commodity exchanges and libraries; most schools; many businesses. Metrolink trains and MTA buses will follow regular schedules. There will be no mail pickup or delivery and all post offices will be closed. Express mail will be delivered.
* TRASH: City of Los Angeles trash collection will maintain regular pickup schedules.
