Angels Raise Top Tickets by $1
The Angels raised single-game ticket prices $1 for the best seats at Edison Field, the club said Wednesday.
The Angels raised prices for field-level seats from $19 to $20 and terrace-level seats from $17.50 to $18.50. The best upper-deck (view-level) seats rose from $13 to $14, but the rest remained at $11 and $10.
The Angels did not raise prices for bleacher seats, which remain at $8 and $6 for adults and $5.50 and $3 for children. According to the club, 17,520 seats are priced at $10 or less.
In the wake of a last-place season, the Angels froze prices on season tickets. Angel President Tony Tavares confirmed last week that 20% to 25% of fans have not renewed season tickets. As a result, the best terrace-level seats, all sold to season customers last year, will be available for $22 per game.
Tickets for individual games, including the April 3 opener against the New York Yankees, go on sale March 4.
