The Memorial Women’s Hospital League is holding a “Books for Babies” fund-raiser at a local used bookstore Thursday. The program provides books for babies born at Memorial Medical Hospital in Long Beach. The program will take place at the Book Connection from 1 to 3 p.m. Cost is $15. Information: (562) 430-5578.
