Homestore.com in Thousand Oaks, which operates a network of Internet sites for home-related and real estate information, has reached an agreement with the Manufactured Housing Institute to host and maintain a consumer Web site for the association.
Homestore.com will become the host of the institute’s official Internet site, as well as its endorsed provider of e-products such as Web sites, home pages and e-mail services designed to attract consumer leads.
Manufactured Housing Institute is a national nonprofit trade association for the manufactured housing industry. Its members produce more than 70% of the manufactured homes made in the United States.
“We believe this is a terrific opportunity to spread the word about the advancements in the manufactured-homes industry,” said Stuart Wolff, chairman and chief executive of Homestore.com.
“It also provides us with an opportunity to broaden the distribution of Homestore.com’s content to a new sector of the home-buying public.”
