Starting today, Hollywood will be coming to town to film scenes for the new John Travolta movie, “Numbers.”
Crews will descend upon the Denny’s at Beach Boulevard and Malvern Avenue to film scenes for the Paramount Pictures film. Armando Sanchez, the restaurant’s assistant manager, said that the restaurant will be closed during filming and security will be tight. No Denny’s employees will be in the film, he said.
The studio is paying nearby Beatty Elementary School a $3,000 rental fee to use the playing fields for storage, said George B. Cottrell, assistant superintendent for administrative services for the Buena Park School District.
