A man who was killed when his truck rolled over him at a post office was identified Saturday as Barton Charles Minutella, 38, of Reseda.
The man was depositing a package Friday at a drive-by mailbox at 7320 Reseda Blvd., but the package fell to the ground and Minutella got out of his truck to retrieve it, a witness told police. Minutella fell and the truck rolled over him.
There was no evidence Minutella had suffered a heart attack or stroke or that alcohol was a factor, Los Angeles Police Officer Steve Cohen said.
Paramedics arrived at the scene about 5:15 p.m. Friday and took Minutella to Northridge Hospital Medical Center, where he died.
