The City Council on Tuesday deferred a decision on allowing monument signs at the intersection of Beach and Garden Grove boulevards to highlight a proposed Korean district.
Stanton recently inherited from the county a small portion of Garden Grove Boulevard from Fern Street to Beach Boulevard. A representative from a Korean business association said there are about 1,000 Korean businesses on Garden Grove Boulevard, including about 20 in Stanton. Council members said they want to wait until proposed street improvements have taken place before making a decision.
