Blackboard Bistro, a recent addition to the local dining scene, will be donating part of its receipts from Aug. 31 to the Seal Beach Animal Care Center. Customers presenting a flyer, which can be found on the center’s Web site, https://www.sbacc.org, will have 25% of their bill donated to the volunteer-run shelter. The fund-raiser takes place during the restaurant’s regular business hours, 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.
