For One Fan, Tiger’s Popularity Has Sagged
I just finished reading the letters to the editor and couldn’t believe there were only the usual comments on Tiger Woods’ phenomenal ability--and nothing on his making the Buick commercial against his own union strike. I loved Tiger. Although a real sports junkie, I’d never followed golf until he came on the scene--and then couldn’t get enough of this wonderful athlete and, what I thought, wonderful person with his unassuming ways and his many charities.
What a shock to find out about his undercutting his fellow SAG members in their strike (right or wrong). Doesn’t he have enough money?
