The Dallas Stars re-signed right wing Jamie Langenbrunner to a one-year deal. . . . . The Phoenix Coyotes signed center Travis Green, 29, to a one-year contract.
Free-agent center Andrei Nikolishin re-signed with the Washington Capitals, accepting the team’s minimum qualifying offer of $1.127 million for one-year, 10% more than the $1.025 million he received last year. . . . Pittsburgh forward Matthew Barnaby accepted the Penguins’ $1.1-million, one-year qualifying offer. Rene Corbet, a left wing who was a restricted free agent, also accepted a qualifying offer for $825,000. . . . The Chicago Blackhawks signed newly acquired defenseman Nolan Baumgartner and free-agent goaltender Rob Tallas . . . The Atlanta Thrashers reached contract agreements with goalie Scott Fankhouser, defenseman Brett Clark and forward Brian Wesenberg--all restricted free agents.
