McKettrick Hired as Baseball Coach

Joe McKettrick has been hired to coach the Estancia baseball team, Athletic Director Tim Parsel said.

McKettrick, who spent the last five seasons as a pitching coach at Orange Lutheran, Fullerton and Magnolia, will be a walk-on coach.

A relief pitcher at Pepperdine in the 1970s, McKettrick is an Anaheim businessman who owns an independent minor league baseball team in Saskatchewan, Canada. He also is a private individual pitching coach with about 25 clients.

McKettrick takes over for Paul Troxel, who resigned in September.
