Art Organization Sets Its Initial Fund-Raiser

Community Art Project, a nonprofit group, will hold its first fund-raiser and public art rally Nov. 15.
The event at the FACT Gallery, 30812 S. Coast Highway, starts at 6 p.m. Tickets are $10.
The project aims to form public, private and corporate sponsorships to place art in public places and create educational opportunities.
Event activities include a multimedia presentation of public art, a silent auction, a speech by Mayor Paul Freeman and readings by poet John Gardiner.
