HIGH DESERT LEAGUE
Paraclete 35, Rosamond 7--Mike Hudson returned two punts for touchdowns and Dominic Washington rushed for 170 yards and two touchdowns for the Spirits at Antelope Valley College.
Hudson began the scoring with a 70-yard punt return in the first quarter and returned another for a 67-yard touchdown in the second quarter. Hudson also had a 24-yard interception return.
Washington, who carried 28 times, scored in the second and fourth quarters on runs of two and three yards.
Tommy Breech scored on a 25-yard interception return for the Spirits (6-1, 2-0).
The special teams play was costly for Rosamond (1-6, 1-1), which gained 221 yards to Paraclete’s 257.
The Roadrunners’ only score was a 17-yard pass from Cory Allred to Kyley Hayes in the fourth quarter. Hayes caught five passes for 85 yards.
