Santa Paula 25, Calabasas 15--Willie Zavala scored on touchdown runs of one and three yards for Santa Paula at home.
Zavala’s three-yard touchdown run on the Cardinals’ first possession capped a 12-play, 80-yard drive. Calabasas (5-2, 0-2) fumbled in Santa Paula territory on each of its next two possessions. Zavala’s one-yard scoring run gave Santa Paula (2-5, 1-1) a 14-0 lead at the half.
Santa Paula added second-half scores on a three-yard run by Ben Alcantar and a 22-yard field goal by Zavala.
