District Officials’ Future on Agenda

The future of three top interim administrators at the Westminster School District could be decided Sunday at a closed-session school board meeting.

The board is set to discuss personnel matters, an exception to the state’s open-meetings laws, regarding Interim Supt. Barbara DeHart; Sheri Jones, interim assistant superintendent of educational services; and Mary Ellen Blanton, assistant superintendent of educational services.

DeHart, a district administrator since 1993, has been serving in the post since May, when the board voted to buy out the contract of then-Supt. Gail Wickstrom, citing philosophical differences.

The meeting will be held at 14121 Cedarwood Ave. at 10:30 a.m.
