Tustin Man Killed in 2-Car Accident
TUSTIN — A Tustin man was killed when he drove his car into the path of another while making a U-turn, police said.
Dionisio Bautista, 67, was parked facing north in his Nissan 200SX on Browning Avenue at Ren Circle about 10:45 a.m. Saturday, police said.
As he pulled into the street to make his turn, his car was hit in the driver’s door by a northbound Nissan Sentra, police said.
Both drivers were taken to Western Medical Center-Santa Ana. Bautista was pronounced dead, and the other driver had surgery for facial injuries, police said.
The crash remains under investigation, authorities said Sunday.
