GARDEN GROVE — The Garden Grove Unified School District’s annual preview screening of family life films for parents of fifth- and sixth-grade girls and sixth-grade boys will be held twice on Wednesday.
The screenings will be at 3:30 p.m. and again at 6 p.m. in the Education Center’s annex conference room, 10331 Stanford Ave.
The films are being shown to parents of students in human growth and development classes. The films will be shown to all fifth- and sixth-grade girls and sixth-grade boys throughout the school year.
The students view the films separately, then participate in discussion groups led by the school nurse or principal.
Students must have signed consent by parents or guardians before they can participate.
Permission slips will be sent home before the films are shown.
