HOLIDAY CLOSINGS
Columbus Day will be observed today. The following schedules will be in effect:
* CLOSED: Los Angeles city and county offices, state and federal offices, courts, banks, post offices and libraries.
* OPEN: Most businesses, Los Angeles city and county schools. MTA buses will follow regular schedules.
* TRASH: Trash will be collected on a regular schedule for all Los Angeles city residents.
