Sunti B. Kearney; 19-Year County Resident

Sunti B. Kearney, a 19-year Ventura County resident, died Friday at her residence in Oxnard. She was 83.
Kearney was born Nov. 27, 1913, in Point Marion, Pa.
Kearney is survived by two daughters, Anne Rehanek of Martinsburg, W.Va., and Mary Mosich of Simi Valley; four sons, James of Corona, Joe of Torrance, and John and Francis of Oxnard; 18 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.
She is also survived by three brothers, Nick and Raymond Barone of Pennsylvania, and Jimmy Barone of Ohio; and one sister, Elma Hare of West Virginia.
She was preceded in death by seven siblings and by her husband of 62 years, James Kearney Sr.
A vigil will be held at 7 p.m. Monday at Ted Mayr Funeral Home in Ventura. A funeral Mass will be said at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Our Lady of the Assumption Church in Ventura, with the Rev. Larry Dowdel officiating.
Burial will follow at Santa Clara Cemetery in Oxnard.
Arrangements are under the direction of Ted Mayr Funeral Home, Ventura.
