Kenny Wayne Shepherd Band, “Trouble Is . . . ,” Revolution * * 1/2. Fired by the spirits of Stevie Ray Vaughan and Jimi Hendrix, the young blues-rock whiz puts his guitar out front, but not too self-indulgently. Singer Noah Hunt handles the leads, while Shepherd wraps agreeably gritty licks around standard themes of heartache, oppression and machismo. The best songs, however, aren’t his, and this sophomore effort mostly stirs a strong sense of deja vu.
