This rapper has appeared on Death Row recordings since 1992, and her long-awaited solo debut proves that good things come to those who wait. Rage delivers her lyrics with gale force and knocks out her tracks with rabbit-punch viciousness. Surprisingly, she flows best over such East Coast-produced tracks as Kenny Parker’s rocking “Super Supreme” and D.J. Premier’s “Some [Expletive]” and “Microphone Pon Cok.” But “Get With Da Wickedness,” arguably the album’s best track, was produced by Rage herself--a formidable woman with many surprises up her Afro puffs.
