A Los Angeles federal judge on Friday ordered convicted computer hacker Kevin Mitnick to stay away from computers, cellular phones and software when he is released from prison.
U.S. District Judge Mariana Pfaelzer said Mitnick also is prohibited from being employed in any job that would allow him to have access to computers without approval from a probation officer.
Mitnick, 33, who has been held since 1995, was sentenced last week to 22 months in federal prison for possessing illegal cellular phone codes and violating his parole.
