Seeing Life in a Whole New Way

Thank you for publishing “The Umpire’s Sons” (June 4). Never have I been so moved by an article. I had tears streaming down my face. I had been feeling depressed for some time, but after reading this article, I realized how lucky I was. After knowing what the Hirschbeck family has been through, it made me appreciate what I do have. It made me see life in a whole new light.
