Sanneh Scores United’s Biggest Goal

Tony Sanneh scored his first goal of the season to give the D.C. United a 3-2 victory over the Clash on Sunday before 14,071 at San Jose.
Sanneh’s goal came seconds after San Jose (4-8) had tied the score in the 86th minute.
The three goals were a season high for the United (9-3), which was without scorers Jaime Moreno, Marco Etcheverry and Raul Diaz Arce.
New England 3, Dallas 1--At Foxboro, Mass., Chiquinho Conde scored a goal and set up another as the Revolution won before 10,242.
The Revolution (8-4) trailed by a goal at halftime to Dallas (7-5), which had not lost a game in which it had scored first.
Conde outleaped the Dallas defense in the 63rd minute to head a cross from Ted Chronopulos into the net to tie the score. Substitute Imad Baba scored two goals, including the final score on a pass from Conde.
Colorado 2, Tampa Bay 0--David Patino scored his first goal and Peter Vermes added another as the Rapids (5-7) handed the Mutiny (5-6) their fourth consecutive loss before 10,452 at Denver.
