Man Arrested for 2nd Time in Slaying of Glendora Woman
Authorities rearrested a suspect Thursday for the February rape and strangulation of a 19-year-old Glendora woman, after DNA testing done on bodily fluids found at the crime scene allegedly linked him to the killing.
David Lee Rodriguez, 22, of Monrovia was being held at the Men’s Central Jail without bail, sheriff’s Deputy Bob Killeen said.
The body of Elizabeth Andia was found in the garage of her home in the 500 block of Claraday Street on Feb. 5.
Rodriguez, who has been charged with the crimes, was arrested shortly after the slaying but released for lack of evidence, authorities said.
