Foreigners who now travel to Hong Kong without visas--including American tourists--can continue to do so after China assumes control over the British territory on July 1, the Chinese Foreign Ministry announced. The statement eased concerns that Beijing would apply its time-consuming visa process to post-colonial Hong Kong. . . . “The Space Race,” a new permanent exhibit at the National Air and Space Museum in Washington, D.C., compares Russian and U.S. space vehicles and equipment from the Cold War era.
