April Restaurant Closures

The county Department of Health Services has the power to shut down food facilities for as long as necessary for the owners to correct conditions that pose a danger to the public health. Here is a list of the restaurants closed during April.

* Ann’s Village Bakery--Berth 76, Ports-O-Call, San Pedro. Closed 4/2; reopened same day. No potable water supply or no hot water.

* Arby’s Roast Beef Restaurant No. 284--321 N. Azusa Ave., Covina. Closed 4/8 to 4/11. No toilet facilities.

* Avenue 3 Pizza--12612 E. South St., Cerritos. Closed 4/28 to 4/30. Improper sanitizing or storage of multiuse utensils, no potable water supply or no hot water, unsafe food temperatures.
