School Plays Host to Technology Expo

To help students and parents better understand computer technology, AGBU Manoogian-Demirdjian School in Canoga Park hosted Technology 2000 Expo on Sunday, with about 1,500 visitors.

Organizers decided to go beyond the usual trade show-style expo by featuring panel discussions and on-line communications demonstrations in addition to showcasing educational software.

By bringing the new technology into a familiar school auditorium, sponsors hoped parents would begin to embrace the new technology likely to become commonplace in their children’s lives.
