ANAHEIM — Prolong International Corp. had record results in 1996 as a television infomercial helped propel sales, the company said Monday.
Prolong, which makes industrial, commercial and automotive lubricants, said net income totaled $721,178, or 3 cents a share, compared with a loss of $415,729 for the previous year. Sales surged to $15.8 million from $390,506. Television sales accounted for about 79% of the sales, the company said.
