CALENDAR

The City Section boys’ volleyball playoffs continue tonight with semifinal matches involving Van Nuys High (12-2) and Grant (10-2) in the 3-A Division and Granada Hills (15-0) in the 4-A.

Grant plays at Eagle Rock, Marshall is at Van Nuys and top-seeded Granada Hills plays host to Venice at 7 p.m. matches.

High school baseball: At 2:30 p.m., Oak Grove vs. Cornerstone Christian at Freedom Park. At 3 p.m., Royal at Agoura, Channel Islands at Camarillo, Newbury Park at Westlake, Thousand Oaks at Simi Valley, Montclair Prep at Highland. At 3:15 p.m., Littlerock at Quartz Hill, Palmdale at Antelope Valley, Montclair Prep at Highland. At 3:30 p.m., Villanova Prep at Thacher.

High school softball: At 2:45 p.m., Louisville vs. Notre Dame at Van Nuys Sherman Oaks Park. At 3 p.m., Flintridge Sacred Heart vs. Alemany at Sylmar Independent Baseball League Park. At 3:45 p.m., Chaminade vs. Harvard-Westlake at Valley College.

High school swimming: At 2 p.m., City Section semifinals at Belmont Plaza in Long Beach.

Boys’ tennis: At 8 a.m., Channel League doubles tournament. At noon, Rio Hondo League tournament at Live Oak CC in Temple City. At 2 p.m., Pacific League tournament at Pasadena High.

Boys’ volleyball: Southern Section playoffs, wild-card matches--At 7 p.m., Upland at Glendale, Palmdale at Hart.
