Second-seeded Granada Hills (13-0) takes on top-seeded Palisades in the 4-A Division and top-seeded Van Nuys (15-1) plays No. 3 Eagle Rock (15-1) in the 3-A Division of the City Section tennis finals at 2 p.m. today at the Studio City Racquet Centre.

Both local teams lost in the finals last year; Granada Hills to Palisades and Van Nuys to Kennedy.

Palisades has won titles in 11 of the past 17 years and Coach Bud Kling was recently honored as the state coach of the year.

Van Nuys, one of the City’s oldest schools, is looking for its second tennis championship in 30 years.

“They’re very excited to be here,” Wolves Coach Jim Buck said his players. “This is something they’ve been pointing to all year long.”
